Trapdoor Spider – （1-1.5cm） – Read Before Buying

Fascinating ambush predator. Lives in a burrow sealed with a hinged "trapdoor" made of moss, soil and silk. Waits behind the door, bursts out to grab passing prey. Very cool to observe, but spends most of its time hidden.

What you get:

- Healthy, active spider.

- Comes with original retreat, but it doesn't seem settled in it anymore.

- You'll need to provide a fresh setup (moist coco peat/peat moss + moss) and let it build a new burrow. Normal for wild-caught trapdoors. May take time—patience required.

⚠️ READ BEFORE BUYING:

Do your own research first. I'm still learning this species myself and can't give expert care advice.

- Not a beginner "handle me" pet. Look, don't touch.

- Do not pull on its door or dig it out—it will grip the burrow and can be injured.

- Only buy if you can provide a suitable setup and are committed to its care.

Care basics (brief):

- Small ventilated container, moist coco peat/peat moss, a little moss.

- Cool, shaded, 15–22°C. Keep substrate damp, mist one corner. Avoid waterlogging.

- Live prey only (small crickets, mealworms). One at a time, remove leftovers.
