As a result, this enclosure is not suitable for keeping small insects (e.g., ants, small spider, or baby crickets). 2mm size Fruit flies will also escape through this gap, please buy the 4mm size one. Important usage tips: For normal micro-landscapes or insect keeping – the base will not leak. For water features, flowing water setups, or fish keeping – we recommend applying a layer of aquarium-safe silicone sealant (glass glue) along the inside bottom edges.
