Description:

A native New Zealand tunnelweb spider. This male is noticeably darker in overall coloration, with a deep blackish-brown abdomen and longer, more slender legs compared to the female. He is equally reclusive, constructing a white funnel-shaped retreat to ambush prey. A great choice for collectors wanting to observe sexual dimorphism in this genus. Keep in a humid setup with hiding opportunities.
