Dual Test Tube Ant Nest – Perfect for Small or Founding Colonies

Very easy to use. Once your new queen has her first workers in the test tube, you just need to plug the tube into this nest – and that's it.

Ideal for founding colonies or small colonies. Can hold up to 400 ants.

Why two test tubes?

After 1–2 months of your queen living in the nest, you may notice the water in the first tube is almost dry. That's why there is a second tube – you can always keep one fully hydrated while your colony is using the other.

100% escape-proof design

This nest is completely sealed – even the smallest big-headed workers cannot escape. However, for the open living area, you will still need anti-escape powder if you want to keep the lid off at all times. I will apply anti-escape powder before shipping for you.

Red cover included

Ants cannot see red light, so the red cover makes them think they are in a dark, black environment. This helps them feel more secure, while still allowing you to see inside when the cover is on.

Test tubes are the best setup for a new queen. Easy to plug in and remove, giving you flexibility to change or rearrange things as needed.
